With a 2.5L capacity, the Beka Cocotte is also ideal for making delicious soups and tasty curries. The durable cast iron material is an excellent heat conductor and retains heat for a long time. Included with the cocotte are two traditional steamer inserts made from lightweight natural bamboo, a renewable resource. Two levels allow cooking of multiple dishes at a time. Thanks to the small nubs under the lid, the evaporated cooking juices are continuously basting the ingredients, keeping them moist. The extra-thick enamel finish is scratch-resistant, making this cocotte extremely easy to clean and maintain. Suitable for all stove tops, including induction, and also in the oven. Handwash for best results.
