FAQs:
What Are These Used For?
An excellent alternative to Trellis is the utilization of H3 treated panels designed for outdoor, above-ground use. These panels offer a multitude of creative applications, allowing for versatile usage. They can serve as wind breaks, visually appealing wall art both indoors and outdoors, inserts for fencing and gates, deck railings, decorative elements for kindergartens, room dividers, or captivating garden features. When adorned with LED lights or spotlights, they create a stunning visual spectacle. Additionally, they can be incorporated into structures such as rubbish bin enclosures or heat pump hides, effectively obstructing the views of prying neighbors.
How Do I Fix These To A Fence?
For optimal stability and durability, it is recommended to use a minimum of six fixings when working with these H3 treated panels. However, utilizing eight fixings is even more advantageous. In cases where the panels are framed or built into a structure, capping options can be found at hardware stores, which have traditionally stocked these items. The specific location and setting will determine the appropriate fixings to use. If you are working with brick or concrete, special drills and wall plugs may be necessary. Alternatively, if the panels are being fixed to wood, steel, or corrugated iron, different types of fixings might be required. Additionally, the presence of posts in the ground or an existing structure can provide anchor points for attaching the panels. In some instances, it may be advisable to seek the assistance of a skilled handyman to ensure proper installation.
Are they just a solid piece of plywood? Anything on the back?
A single piece of plywood is required, with no additional layers or materials attached to the back surface.
What Are The Dimensions?
The larger panels have dimensions of 1200mm in height, 800mm in width, and a thickness of 12mm. These measurements correspond to approximately one-third of a standard plywood sheet. On the other hand, the smaller panels are half the size of the larger ones, measuring 800mm in height, 600mm in width, and also maintaining a 12mm thickness.
What Is the Recommended Paint Solution?
The panels are supplied in their bare form without any paint coating. We do not provide painted panels as part of our supply. The choice of paint is left to the customer's discretion. It is important to note that water-based paints are commonly used for such applications due to their ease of use, quick drying time, and environmental friendliness.
