Microplane Eco Zester

Overview

The Microplane EcoGrate is a series of cheese graters that has been made in the USA out of sustainable Moso bamboo and surgical grade stainless steel blades. Because of its shape and size, it fits easily into the hand while still providing a broad grating surface.

The Microplane EcoGrate Series was designed with the environment in mind. The entire grater is BPA, Melamine, PVC, and Phthalate free. The handle is biodegradable and the blade is recyclable. Microplane graters feature photo-etched blade technology, ensuring effortless grating for superior results and blades remain sharper for longer. Reusable cardstock packaging sleeve for blade protection.

Top rack dishwasher safe. Rinse in warm water immediately after each use. Remove trapped particles from the non-sharp side whenever possible. To remove trapped particles on the front, first, soak the tool in warm water and then use a cleaning brush to stroke in the same direction as the teeth.

The EcoGrate Zester is the perfect kitchen tool for finely grating cheese or lemon zest for recipes like lemon bars or lemon meringue pie. It also works on citrus fruits like lemons, limes and oranges for drinks like margaritas or sangria. This kitchen tool is also great for ginger root, garlic cloves and chocolate.
