Trade Aid Alex Round Storage Basket

Overview

Trade Aid is a social enterprise creating fairness in trade. We work with food and craft producers around the world, and we support and educate kiwi consumers to join with us in creating a world where trade is fair for all.

This white and natural striped round jute storage basket is hand twisted and stitched into shape by skilled artisans working with one of our fair trade partners in Bangladesh.

Jute is a natural vegetable fibre that comes from the skin of the jute plant’s stem. Jute is the leading natural resource in Bangladesh and is 100% biodegradable, a renewable resource and sustainably harvested. The fibres are spun into strong, coarse threads which are highly versatile.

Please note as these baskets are handmade, there could be slight variations in size, weave and colour. If you are ordering multiple baskets, our team will do their best to pick baskets that match.
