Trade Aid Scout Round Storage Basket L

Overview

Trade Aid is a social enterprise creating fairness in trade. We work with food and craft producers around the world, and we support and educate kiwi consumers to join with us in creating a world where trade is fair for all.

This large round storage basket with inset handles is handwoven from rattan by skilled weavers working with our fair trade partner in Indonesia.

Rattan is the general name for climbing palm. The strong, flexible stems grow very quickly making them a versatile material in the manufacturing industry. The rattan is soaked for up to four weeks to make it malleable then handwoven into shape.

Please note as these baskets are handmade, there could be slight variations in size, weave and colour. If you are ordering multiple baskets, our team will do their best to pick baskets that match.
