Overview

Bamix® was the first hand-held blender ever made, invented in 1950. To this day, each one is still assembled completely by hand at the Bamix® factory in Switzerland where blenders make up their total business; they are true specialists in this field.

Bamix® blenders have strong AC motors which are the simplest and most rugged of motors, producing high torque or turning forces. The high torque means a Bamix® doesn’t need to rev so high to get the job done, leading to less wear and longer life.

Unlike some hand blenders, there is no need to ‘cool down’ so they can keep on working under load for long periods. Bamix® motors are one of the few in the world that can be repaired and carry a 20-year guarantee against manufacturing faults for machines being used domestically.

Each Bamix® comes with a double insulated and fully sealed casing, which allows immersion into both hot and cold liquids – ideal for the soup pot. You can operate your Bamix ® with one finger, and due to its ergonomic design, it sits comfortably in the palm of your hand without slipping. And clean-up is simple – straight into a beaker or jug of water, or under the tap and pulse a few times whilst submerged.
