Overview

Usborne Young Reading books are designed for newly independent readers to become confident and fluent. With a wide range of lively chapter books including adaptations of classics, history titles and original fiction, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this bumper 40-book collection. 

This collection is designed to help children grow as readers and includes a broad range of story styles, with super readable text and fully illustrated pages, to encourage readers to find the themes they enjoy most and also try something different from time to time.

The first 25 books are taken from Usborne Young Reading Series Two (for ages 6+), many of which are adapted classics for children to discover including: A Little Princess, Robin Hood, Robinson Crusoe and Treasure Island. The next 15 books are taken from Usborne Young Reading Series Three (for ages 7+), which include longer adaptations to develop readers' stamina, and also history and biography titles: Frankenstein, Anne Frank, Oliver Twist and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

This collection is packaged in a beautiful slipcase, making it a great gift that will surely inspire a lifelong love of reading!
