Overview

The KSM160 Stand Mixer is made to perform and built to last. Original planetary mixing action ensures thorough ingredient incorporation. For even more versatility, the attachment hub transforms the mixer into a pasta maker, food grinder, vegetable slicer, sausage maker and much more. Also includes a 2.8L mixing bowl to prepare smaller quantities.

Over 100 Years of Kitchenaid engineering made in the USA: A perfectly balanced system that is unique to KitchenAid carefully aligns bowl touchpoints, beater-bowl clearance, bowl shape, accessories design, and speed to ensure that the power delivered to the bowl is turned into the powerful performance for which KitchenAid Stand Mixers are known.

Metal Construction: Zinc metal construction and premium enamel finish make the Stand Mixer robust, stable, and durable.

Variable Speed Option: Choose from variable 10 speeds setting for a slow stir to fast whip.

Core Stand Mixer Functions: Mix, stir, whip, and knead with various beaters, whips, and dough hooks. Do even more with attachments.

Motor: The Stand Mixer motor powers all of the Power Hub attachments, as well as the in-bowl beaters, whips, and doughhooks. It is quiet, reliable, long-lasting, and efficient.

300 watts is all you need: High motor wattage doesn't automatically mean good performance. In fact, it can mean wasted energy. When a machine is designed and built well, there is no need to draw unnecessary extra power. Planetary Action: The KitchenAid Stand Mixer was the first home stand mixer to feature planetary action. The unique planetary action allows the beater to spiral to at least 59 different touch points within the bowl for quick and thorough mixing.
