Coastal Classic Garden Wooden Folding Chair

Overview

Simple construction, folding armchair, making it easy to open and close. The product itself is lightweight making it easy to move and lift. The weather-net is of high strength, quick drying and low maintenance. The hardware (nuts and bolts) are stainless steel.

This Wooden chair is made of FSC-certified Eucalyptus wood, (Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a globally recognised certification system with million hectares of forestland certified under its forest conservation standards. The performance-based standards encompass environmental, social and economic values, and are framed to ensure that the forests are managed sustainably) it has a natural oil finish. The seat and back are made of weather-net, Weather-Net is a PVC-coated polyester yarn with high strength and elasticity, providing the ultimate comfort and durability.

Wood is a living material. Minor cracks and a change of colour over time are natural features of hardwood. To maintain the furniture's condition, you should follow these instructions:

Maintenance ScanCom garden furniture is treated with oil before leaving the factory, and the oil penetrates some kinds of wood more deeply than others. Please remove any oily residue with a cloth before you use your new garden furniture.

Please do not oil your new furniture immediately. However, we recommend applying a thin layer of oil every three months, it’s necessary to prevent cracks on wood from happening early. This process should be repeated annually with a Hardwood Sealer Oil, shortly before the furniture is brought out to the garden for the summer.

If the timber is exposed to rain, the surface fibres of the timber will rise slightly and have a rough texture. This is normal. Light sanding with semi-fine sandpaper will achieve a smooth finish. When this is finished, oil the timber to restore its colour.
